Opening summer 2026

Celebrate
the central coast!

On the cliffs of Pismo Beach, two familiar places are coming together as one. Pacific Point Resort is being thoughtfully renewed, uniting Shore Cliff Hotel and Pismo Lighthouse Suites into a single coastal resort shaped by the land, the ocean, and the unhurried rhythm of the Central Coast.

About the resort

Pacific Point Resort is perched on the cliffside between the Pacific Ocean and the Pismo Preserve along California’s Central Coast. The 170-key resort is a love letter to the classic beach town of Pismo Beach, where surf culture first awakened a generation to nature’s rhythms and the enduring poetry of sand meeting sea.

Across the resort, design reflects the dialogue between land and ocean. Shore Cliff rooms draw from the coastal bluffs through earthy palettes, organic forms, and grounded details, while the Lighthouse Suites and Ocean House Suites answer with cool tones and fluid shapes inspired by the movement of the Pacific. Public spaces, including two on-site pools, become the convergence point where these narratives meet, creating places that feel familiar yet expansive, rooted yet quietly transformative.

Set above the shoreline, every touchpoint is shaped by the surrounding landscape. Complimentary bikes, in-room binoculars, and art installations throughout the property connect guests to the region’s history, marine ecology, and distinctive flora and fauna. A whale- and dolphin-sighting bell rings across the resort when wildlife appears offshore, and each guest receives a watercolor paint kit at check-in to capture their stay and take a piece of the coast home. Guided hikes through the Pismo Preserve, tidepool excursions timed to the ocean’s greatest reveals, and an on-site gear rental outfitter make it easy to explore at nature’s pace.
